Pipelineaudio, Carillion said your check's in the mail. hehehe =)

Two techs can build the same machine. One will be better.

Luckily I've been on the right side of this equation, I guess. Maybe the fact that I take apart, fix, and modify desktops, servers, and laptops everyday helps.

If the PC is quiet, fast, and stable, what else is there? I don't need pretty buttons on the front.

What case do you guys recommend. oviosley(i cant spell that word) it needs to be quiet.i also like the ones with the side panels and led's and fancy stuff like that.preferabley one without a power supply. Thanks

Think I'll expand on that a little bit.

A computer's power supply is a super wall-wart, mounted inside the case, that supplies different voltages to different components. They range from approx. 250 watts up to 600 watts, depending on how much you expect them to power. Generally speaking don't go below 300 watts, and more than 480 watts will most likely be overkill. You pay extra for quality, redundancy, and low noise. They all fit into the same space/form factor.

"i'm sorry to tell you but every pc needs a power supply !"

I know. I said i want a case without a power supply so that i could buy this one seperatley. Enermax EG365P-VE (FMA) 350W PSU

If you find a case that you like but it already has a power supply, just pop it out, put it on a shelf, and save it for a rainy day before you put your new one in. Nothing, NOTHING, on a computer is easier to pop out than a power supply. Okay, okay, a CD-ROM is easier to pop out... jeez...
