Anyone using one of the LOMO-33 large diaphragm heads on a MC012 Oktava?

How do you like the sound of this combination. How would you compare the sound to other large diaphragm mics (i.e., TLM103, AKG414B)?

I'm very happy with the sound of my MC012's and was weighing the benefits of purchasing the LOMO head, versus getting a TLM103 with shock mount (which will cost much more). Any input is appreciated.

I have mc012's and wonder also....

Would love to have an answer to the same question, same reason.

I listened to the Lomo a few years ago, and fell in love with it. It's a great sounding combo with the MC012, producing a "bigger than life, in your face" kinda sound. I bought it on the spot.

I had the chance to buy the m1 lomo recently, shortly after working with a 414uls. I didn't buy it. It might be my ignorance, but I was very impressed by the 414uls and not at all by the lomo. For me the lomo sounded much less detailed, too much colour. I used it for recording voice, trumpet, flügel. I have to add that I've heard the 414 in a different room, and i wasn't looking for a flattering, but realistic sound.

The first time I heard the Lomo on the MC-012, I dropped to the floor! No, I really did! ...Tripped on a cable...
