Does anyone use a Big Knob? (STOP IT!)

I'm thinking of getting one of these from Mackie for my Studio as I have 3 sets of monitors and a smaller mixing board...

Any (clean!) comments?

You are aware that ALL cables involved have to hook up to the Big Knob. That is a lot of clunky cables laying across your desk!

I'm Finally getting to the point where I can set up another "true" studio and I have a plan for design where this device may help...
(The cables will go "UNDER" my rig!)

I read a few reviews saying it was quite clean...
However, I was VERY surprised to see it sold for more than 1,200.00 dollars !!!
