Hey, I'm getting a new laptop to take with me to college in the fall. I'm studying music industry and I will need to be able to use the laptop to run ProTools (along with obviously other college work and such)
I'm thinking I will be getting a Toshiba Portege r700 (one of the non-retail models) here's the link: http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/pdet.to?poid=478875
It's got a i5, 7200 rmp hard drive, 4 gigs memory. I would assume this should be able to handle ProTools well but whats your take? The lack of a dedicated graphics card will not be an issue right?
Thanks
