Do you think there are too many polls in the Singing Forum?

You can't swing a dead cat without hitting 5 polls in this forum. Is it too much?

I think you have a point. I suspect though, that polls are a way of trying to get discussions going. I do take part in some of them but I think they're daft for the most part. Interestingly though, a number of the polls go back quite a while and they turn up on the lead pages because someone votes on them.

There are at least 5 people who think I am an ass! So that's something...

At this present moment, 7 out of the first 9 threads are asking for opinions on whether someone can sing, and one of the remaining 2 is a poll !

I can think of all my favorite bands and I can't imagine any of those singers asking for the opinions of strangers.

I don't really think there are too many polls, but I voted mostly because I love it when anybody uses the "dead cat" thing.
