hi. i want to purchase the Lexicon Omega studio. I need 2 microphones that are good for recording and inexpensive. I have a vocalist singing, and someone playing an acoustic guitar or a keyboard. Need mics for both. What do you suggest? What about purchasing the Lexicon Omega studio for desktops, and getting the mxl marshall 2001 for the vocalist and the 603s for the person playing either the keyboard or guitar?
Let me know.. thanks

Lexicon works fine...software must be upgraded to do finished mixes.

Have a friend who got one. You can connect up to 4 inputs at onec. The Lexcon comes with Cubase LE. What they don't tell you is that you can mix and record, but to mixdown your final tracks. The program only lets you do it 20 some times. Then you need to BUY from Steinburg an mp3 ungrade to continue. WE have not found where you get that little MP3 upgrade yet. But the Lexicon does the job. The software that comes is limited, but will get you in the door of Cubase and the many things it can do.
