Chessrock, I understand. You have every right to be pissed for being passed over by a good-looking idiot. Hell, I'd be pissed too.

And since I don't look like a supermodel, guess what, it even happens to me. And so does the harrassment.

It's basically the other side of the same damn coin.
 
i think its silly when someone reads a title of a subject in a forum... Do women love the "man" or the "microphone"? and know its dangerous territory to enter, but do anyways for the joy of friction.

well, i honestly didn't expect it to be a thread using mics as a metaphor for dildos. i didn't really know what to expect, but i did kind of expect it to be stupid, so i just had to see exactly how stupid. i have a sense of humor, and for those who honestly find this 3rd grader shit funny, i guess i've just managed to retain a few more brain cells. sorry, but i see this sort of shit on this board and other recording boards, and this sort of "man's world" mentality gets on my fuckin nerves. so for those of you who feel like you were being insulted and had to retort with something as cutting as "get a life," maybe you should look into doing the same. man, i feel like i'm on fuckin HarmonyCentral....

If it bothers you so much that men ( and boys ) act like they always have then you are probably in the wrong place. To take something that one of "us" says to the point that you must curse to get your point across doesn't really prove that you have retained more brain cells than the rest of us.

Also, do you belive that the mean maturity of this board is that much different than Harmony Central? It's not as if it's any harder to find homerecording.com than it is to find harmony central.

I suppose we should have RSAC rate our threads before they are public...

FWIW, Ive been here about a year and a half and this is the first Ive seen of this.
 
My girlfriend insisted on buying me an Aphex Aural Exciter with Big Bottom for my birthday a few years ago. She thought it was nice that finally some manufacturer came out with a product that exactly fit my needs.

We both found it pretty funny, and not the least bit threatening. But I suppose we've been around the block a few more times than some others...

The days are long gone when I had to worry that maybe I was getting hired for my looks... Come to think of it, I was probably never hired for my looks! :(
