I just got Sound Forge 4.5 with the FX1-3 plugins. Am I doing something wrong, or do the effects just sound like shit?
The reverb sounds like somebody spilling the contents of a bean-bag onto the floor after each note. The Chorus and Flanger are so subtle I can hardly hear them at anything other than their maximum settings. I've messed around with all the settings, listened in both real time and after processing, but most every effect I've tried sounds either bad or almost imperceptible. Damn, I got better results from this little Wave Flow shareware app I had been using.
Any advice?
