hey everybody,
I'm just wondering, since sonar 3 basically gives you two sets of FX plugs, which to people prefer? Personally i like the Sonar/cakewalk delay but to be honest i like the sonitus delay better. I also like the sonitus compressor.

Any personal preferences?

I actually prefer the Sonitus Multiband Compressor and Reverb plugins compared to the Cakewalk ones, I actually like the Sonitus reverb better then the Lexicon (Which is also good). The Sonitus Reverb has a very light and airy tail that adds a really nice shimmer.

I especially like the sonitus compressor UI -- the way it shows where you currently are on the curve makes it even easier to adjust.

i purchased the sonitus plugin pack V2 a couple years ago. I was going to buy V3, but sonitus warned that they were going out of business.

now i can get Sonar3 and get the sonitus upgrade too... what a deal!

i use waves most of the time, but i really like the sonitus compressor (with the built in limiter) and the sonitus EQ.

of course, none of this is going to happen until i build my new room.

yeah i like the compressor of sonitus a lot as well. I definately think it is worth the upgrade from sonar studio to sonar producer. I don't know about the lexicon plug yet though, i havn't had a chance to play with it.

How about we all jump om the new owners to spring for a threshold control for the limiter.

Ok, it's too nice to waste on not using it cause you have to mess with the track volume everytime to make up for the cranked gain you need to get it to kick in.:D
And it doesn't suck holes like the other one.
