Okay, I tried to draw a chart but I need comfirmation of my conclusion. I finally bought some powered monitors ( I'm leaving the brand name out because I don't need another gear debate thread) I have one set of RCA outs on my tascam (the other is dead and even if it were'nt I don't believe that it would solve my problem). I need to get the signal to the monitors, to my CD burner (Consumer RCA in and out) , be able to play CD through the monitors, and have different input level going into the CD burner and the monitors. SO it's
Tascam to monitors and burner
CD to monitors
I need a mixer right?
How many channels or whatever would I require? I am only familiar with my tascams built in mixer.

Or a mixer and a patchbay? COME ON I"M LOST HERE? Don't let your little recording buddy spend money on the wrong thing or something he does'nt need. Don't make him take advice from the guy at guitar center. I know one of you all has the answer and I know that its simple. I just switched over from Hi-Fi equipment and I could route that shit like a MoFo but this seems a little different to me. Help me out. Please

I think I've got it now but I need to fix my other set of rca outs. Out to monitors. Out to CDR. CDR out to tascam stereo input? Someone comment...please...be your best friend.........I let you play with my The Cheat toy.
