do I need a special card for GigaStudio ?

If yes, which low badget card will do ?

It has to be of HIGH audio quality but I don't need and digital out/in or more than the standard mic/line in/line out/midi jacks.

I believe you need a card that has special drivers... why not check Tascam's website, they probably have a list of Giga-compatible hardware.

24 bit playback/recording capability is certainly required.
