Do i need a preamp with the Delta 66?

yes, youll need one....but if you are looking at the Delta 66, put out a few more $$$$ and get the Delta Omni Studio....comes with the Delta 66 pci card plus 2 awesome preamps and alot more routing options........
 
Damn, looks like i have to stick with the Audiophile because i can't afford over $300 :(.

So i'll just get the Audiophile and the Audiobuddy.

Gidge, dat would probably be my first choice if i could afford dat much but i don't have the money.

So i guess i will have to go with the Audiophile for right now.

I got the Delta OMNI package for $399.00 at guitarcenter. If your budget is $300.00 then you should try to invest another $100.00 and get the package, that way you won't have to worry about a preamp. The OMNI breakout box also acts like a mixer.

BY the way, you can also bargain at some stores and try getting it cheaper. Just tell them you are on a tight budget.
