Do I need a computer with D-1600?

I'm pretty good with computers (I run a small newspaper and use MACs all the time). I record with a Triton Pro, a guitar, a mic and a Korg D-1600 with a CD-RW attachment. What will a computer system give me that I can't get with my current set-up? Thanks in advance.

I'm not all that familiar with that Korg unit, but I'd say a computer would offer you greater flexibility, greater power, and a far more pleasing UI to work with. I have used a few Roland VS-880's on several occasions, and while it's cool to have buttons, knobs, and faders to play with, I could never get over how much the UI sucked.
