DMT 8VL erasing???

Hi all, does anyone know the procedure for completely erasing all recording data from the hard disc on this unit. I have recently aquired the unit s/h and want to clear all of the previous owners work from it and start afresh. I have the manual but cannot seem to find anything along those lines.

I just got one and it's a pain in the ass to erase each individual track. So I formatted the whole thing.Simple!

The Dmt8vl will split the hard drive capacity between programs So:

If you want to maintain programs of equal time length, or clear them all you can.

To erase all, arm all 8 tracks and press record. Allow the machine to run for 5 minutes or longer and then there will be a blank program of that particular length. (I used to put several songs back to back on each program.)

If you want a clean slate, Just reformat the hard disk and there will be no time recorded on any tracks.
