i see the dmp3 only has 1 1/4TRS output..i would like to record to my delta 1010 via TRS for a balanced signal. but that brings up a problem for me...
i monitor from my console(tascam m1600) how can i get the mic signal to my delta 1010 and to a sub input on my console so my artist can hear themselfs in the headphones while in the vocal booth? are there TRS Y-splitters

I would not split the outputs as the gain will go down. You really need to tap the signal from your console buss as there are amps in the console that will preserve the signal and gain integrity.

Can you connect the outputs of the 1010 to your console and monitor those. There are no latency issues if you send the deltas inputs directly to the outputs in the delta mixer.

u sure i did this with my RNP and didn't notice any gain loss...then again the Y splitter did cost 30 bucks so it better not have :p

Correct.

In doing so you will indeed drop the gain by at least 30db's
I should know. I too tried to do the same thing.

ok so how do i wire this..? i wish it had 2 outs..
right now its going from the mic to the dmp3 to the delta.. it sounds good but i need to monitor the vocals in the headphones while recording..
i have outs 1-2 active right now but i have a 8ch snake so i can wire the others right up

Connect the outputs of the 1010 to the console. Have your delta monitor mixer setup so that the soundcard input the dmp3 is connected to is sent to the soundcard output that is connected to your console, for zero latency monitoring.
