dmp3 power supply

Hello folks, I just got my second dmp3 in the post there, and it seems they've went to the effort of putting a funky power supply in the box as opposed to the wall wart variety that came with my last one. It requires a compter type power cable to work it, which means it will be another couple of days before i can use it god damn.

anyone else got this or is it a new thing?

Did you get both from the same source? Was the new one by any chance listed as "refurbished," "B-stock," or something like that?
