Ok, i currently have an electronic kit running through my DM5. What i want to do is to use this to send midi info to my pc so that i can use soundfonts.
I've never done this so im a bit confused where to start.
I have some really nice drum soundfonts and i would prefer to use these than the one's on the dm5.
I run sonar 5 producer on my pc which currently is home to my audiophile 2496. Is soundfont usage possible with this? if so how would i set this up in sonar and how do i actually load the soundfonts cos everytime i try i end up making a complete hash of it.
Any info or links appreciated...simpler the better lol.
