DM24 and Alesis HD24: The Hook up

Hello,

I, ve got an Alesis HD24, fireport, DAW (on dual athlon Winxp and Logic 5) and a Tascam DM24 (american import) (I will receive the meterbridge somewhere in Januari I think).

I have trouble getting the HD24 to work with the DM24. it is connected trough two ADAT cards from the DM24 (for 16 channel recording). How do I set up the buttons for play/record and so on. I allready followed the guidelines from Tascam (on their US website) and downloaded it. But it doesn;t say how to setup the remote control.

You need some Midi Cables. Also make sure everything is clocked up right. If your getting sound then you should be good.

The Transport should work with HD24. Try MTC midi in / out from both devices.

Turning on MTC

Hello,

I have allso connected a wordclock cable. Should this stay connected? I will try to connect the two machines with midicables and see if it will work.
