The not fountain head
Okay.. I made a couple mistakes with my rig, in the past year....

1) Bought dual LCD's that are not DVI compatible.. UGGH!!!

2) Bought 15' SVGA cabling at the store...They were the best ones they had at the BestBuy-type store....

Which brings me to my questions...

If I were to solder up my own pair'O svga cables.... What is the reasonably ultimate choice for cable and connectors?...

It would be nice to build a dual monitor cable (two svga signals).... But I suppose that'd be bad from a shielding perspective..

PLEASE HELP ME EXORCISE THE GHOSTS ON MY SCREEN!!!

Look out Scooby  !!

I don't know if I understand what you are trying to do with your setup, could you elaborate a bit?

Sure..

1) Buy high spec cable and DB15 connectors

2) solder them together

3) connect one end to the video card

4) connect the other to the LCD screen

5) say goodbye to a crappy looking display
