I posted this info in the DIY section, but decided to post here as well for anyone who may be interested.
There are a few DIY options for ribbon mics. The link below leads to to a limited offer from DIY Audio Components (DIYAC), and is based on their commercial ribbon mic. Apparently they received a batch of bodies with minor machining flaws from their machine shop, so they decided to offer these to the DIY community.
