I was bumm'in around on-line and found this site. http://mysite.verizon.net/vze22yzp/id4.html I was wondering how accurate this site's information is. I like the simplicity of the descriptions and thoguht it would be good for some of the people here; who, like me are just starting to learn about room acoustics.

It's basically accurate. I would skip the polyester batting, it's completely unnecessary. The fabric is enough to keep fibers from getting loose. Rigid fiberglass doesn't shed anything like the pink stuff does.

It's also funny that these guys think $150 is cheap for an interconnect, but they won't buy fire rated fabric. Instead they get cheap burlap at Wal-Mart, and treat it themselves? Sounds like fun . . . but makes their room look like crap. Honestly, for $5,000 they could have fiberglass panels professionally installed, and it would like real nice too.

Not that I'm suggesting anybody here do that, but these audiophiles, they kill me
