Dirty South Track --What do you think?

Hey All,

Please check out this track. www.artistlaunch.com/O.T. The song title is "IT Don't Matter". My brother and I have been recording Rappers and producing tracks for a number of years. I am unsure of how many women are creating tracks but I would be interested in hearing from them too. Please give your opinion on this Dirty South track.

I thought it was tight. I like the clarity of the vocals, but the doubling was not too in synch, so it made it sound a little less pro.

The kick sounded like it wanted some more slap to it, a little more midrange.

I liked the tune, good job.
 
This tune has a lot of neat stuff going on it. I'm not familiar with the genre, really, but it kept me listening because it is really interesting- a variety of stuff to focus on. Nice.

I'd like to hear better doubling on the vox, too. Its a bit distracting.

It also sounds like a synthy bass. This would sound FAT with a well recorded real bass.

I did not mention that this track was written by my brother. He was stationed in Louisiana, where "bounce" is preferred. I am in New Jersey and the styles seem to be changing. I will put up a couple of my own tracks soon. They are certainly very different then what he is doing.
