Gone
Well I'm sick of waiting for MP3.COM to put my song up. I'm going to provide two links. The first link will only work until the tune goes live at MP3.COM, at which point the second link will work. Got it? (I'd edit this message later but there are time limits now)

So the other day I was getting ready for work... just sort of messing around. For whatever reason this melody came into my head and stuck for a while. On my way to work I came up with the chorus. After I got to work I had a sudden burst of lyric-writing ability (of which I have VERY LITTLE...take what I can get) and wrote all the verses.
I was so excited that I promptly took the rest of the day off and went home to record it. Recorded & mixed for several hours and was done that evening....not counting time spent fighting an n-Track bug.
Notes:
Yes this is a VERY sloppy song. That's kinda the way I wanted it...though some of it kinda bugs me....if I had really worked it out and retracked the goofy parts then it would have lost all spontenaity (sp?) which is what I like best about it. The main change is very awkward which I actually like...sorry
Vocals with an SM57 into an ART Tube MP. Acoustic Guitars with an SM57 into an ART Tube MP. (noticing any patterns?) Electric guitars through the POD. Bass into a SansAmp Bass DI Box. into an ART Tube MP. Everything into a Delta44. Mixed with n-Track.
