Some time ago I downloaded a Windows certified Directx8 driver(Win9x_12.41) for my NVIDIA GeForce MX/MX 400 graphics card. I did so because DxDiag indicated that my current driver, the one Sony installed at the factory, was not certified. The other day I re-visited DxDiag, clicked on the Display tab, and saw that it still lists the same uncertified driver that came with my computer as the main driver. Anyone know what's goin on? Has anyone else
installed Win9x_12.41? Thanks.

I have the same problem, however your system won't run less.

Perhaps some other drivers are not certified.

thanks rdeboer for your reply...my other drivers are working fine, certified or not...for that matter, since I installed r6 my entire system is working great...nevertheless, I don't understand why it is that you and me seem to be the only CuBase users concerned about Directx8 drivers...have you installed Win9x_12.41?...it may well be that this driver is not a "main-driver" and that's why DxDiag doesn't list it as such, but, I would still expect DxDiag to list it as active. later, toyL.
