DirectX audio plugins...

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I could find freeware directx plugin effects?

Specifically I am looking for compression, chorus, flange and distortion. Right now I am using my effects board, but I would like to be able to edit/adjust effects after they have been recorded...

As well, does anyone know where I can find .wav samples of real drums, not of beats mind you, but one shot deals like kick samples, crash samples, snare samples and the like...

Any help would be appreciated.

One thing you should definitely get before you start playing around with free plugins, is a DirectX Uninstaller program. Alot of these leave artifacts in your registry when you delete them.

I grabbed that uninstaller, and a few others... I also grabbed the 21 day shareware trial of the Db plugins, so I'll muck around with them... Mostly I need the compression.

I grabbed some plugins myself. Dissatisfied with my sonic foundry plugins.
