Does anyone know if there is a way to do the following?
I've got a couple Tascam Da-38's hooked to my PC. I can import and export audio digitally between all devices. I need a way to run the audio (a single track) into my computer, render it with real time directX plug-ins and route it back out to my tape machine. I'm currently able to bring in a track, render it then dump it back to tape but I've got to save the audio to my computer hard drive first. I want to be able to skip that step and use the computer / plug-in as an external "effect". I'm assuming this will have to be done in software somehow. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
