Guys, quick question:
I am now using an electric guitar plugged into an amplifier plugged into my mixer (Spirit M12) via a unbalanced cables. If I buy a DI Box for the guitar, should it go between the amplifier and the mixer, or does it replace the amplifier altogether?
This:
Guitar ---- DI Box ==== Mixer
Or This:
Guitar ---- Amp --- DI Box ==== Mixer
(- balanced, = unbalanced)
I don't really need the mixer (like, for distortion or any othe reffect), but is it recommended to use it? Or should I really be mic'ing the amplifier?
Confused,
chewy
Oh and also, is the Behringer DI Box an OK piece of equipment?
