This recording is recorded with all instrument going direct, only the vocals were done by michrophone, could not convince singer to have a D/I surgically implanted, let me know what you think.

I'm not a guitar player, so I can't comment on the guitar sound, but it's a cool, heavy riff. Unfortunately, I'm not crazy about the drums. It sounds like half the snare hits are toms. Also, it sounds like it's in mono. There's no seperation. But it's a smoking tune, man. Would love to hear this with real drums and a little better production. I've always liked the use of overlapping vocals and you use it well here.

If is, and "you´re not a guitar player"... who´s a guitar player? Ron Wood? (I can´t control ;in the last 2 stones shows in Brazil, he (and his fender that nobody hear) stay in the left side of stage and doesn´t make any difference)

Very great guitars in your songs,Rami (and you know that... )I´m playing guitar in a lot of styles in the last 20 years and i´m very impressed by the way your play ALL the instruments (and principally your sense of "when play and when not play"(silence) the notes.

Can't wait to hear it, too. You have strong material, judging from that tune, and a killer classic rock voice. Good luck...By the way, you might want to post this in the MP3 clinic, you'll probably get more responses.

CIRO...That is me playing guitar and everything else on my tunes...but I still don't consider myself a guitar player. Espcially when it comes to critiquing someone's sound. Getting a good guitar sound is still all guess work for me at this point.

This was recorded on a HAMER studio usa, with a DIMARZIO super distortion in the neck, and a PJ.MARX in the bridge, run into a LINE6 POD, out to a REDBOX d/i , then into the console...

The guitars sound good. I'm impressed that you got that tone direct. Is this direct from amp, or through a direct box?

As stated earlier, the drums do sound a bit weak. But I don't know how to record drums properly either, so I can't make any suggestions.

What effects were you using on the vocals? Some of it (the high parts especially) sounds kind of like it went through a phaser or similar effect.

I can't say I like the guitars at all. I really try to listen without any bias and I have heard direct in that sounds somewhat passable as a real amp but those guitars just don't sound like they recorded with an amp and mic. IMO you just can't fuck with a good tube amp and a mic.

It's a decently rocking tune, but the overall sound is small and muffled; particularly the guitars, which are just muddy.
