Direct Boxes

Can anyone suggest a good direct box for recording bass/guitar? I've priced a few and they all seem pretty affordable but I've never used one and don't know exactly what to look for. Any help would be much appreciated.

Countryman DI for bass....i dont really like recording the guitar direct,but it will work for it.....

Yorkville puts out a DI and it is not expensive. Don't know if it is quality or not but I discussed one with my sales rep for Yorkville.
