I have a Marshall JCM 900 and I want to record some guitar parts. The problem is that I live in an apartment so turning the amp up isn't much of an option so I figured I would just do some direct recording to get my song ideas down. If my amp has a "Recording Compensated" output and a "Direct Output" do I still need a direct box?
