I am one of those people that would love to be able to afford a PRS, but alas, I can not. However, The other day I spotted a Dillion DRS-500 thats looked realy cool. I did not get the chance to play with it but it looked like a decent guitar. The owner of the store plugged it in and played a little and from what I could tell it sounded realy good.
The question I have is that most of the recording I would do with this guitar would lean towards the clean side since most of my stuff is acoustic. Is there anyone out there that owns one of these guitars that can help me with my descion making process. One other thing that I noticed about the guitar was that I thought the frets seemed to be on the large side (both width and height). I do not know if this would tend to make it a little harder to play.
