Does anyone know of a simple Digital Spdif to Stereo Analog Converter? Or a basic speaker system that has a Digital Spdif input?

Thanks

There are about a billion of them out there. What sort of budget are you looking at?

Cheap, real cheap. This is just to hook up any old speakers I want to to a card with no analog outs. It does have Digital spdif out.

I've been looking online for awhile and couldn't find a simple converter. What are a few of the billions of options you speak of?

Thanks

When you say "Cheap - Real cheap" (which, incidentally reminds me of "Guns - Lots of guns" from "The Matrix" - but I digress) I'm thinking that you might be best off just getting a "real cheap" ($200?) integrated amp with a S/PDIF input.

Of the plethora of D/A converters out there, you aren't going to get cheaper than something along those lines.

Now, if I'm wrong and "Cheap - Real cheap" means $600, 700, $1000 (which is cheap for a nice set of converters) then let me know...

Some of the Roland speakers have digital inputs. They sound pretty good too.
