WTF??? What is that? They cannot put anything on that CD but noise. And you don't want to add noise to your sound. Even not if it's only in a region that makes your recordings appear warmer.

Now YOU can order a CD of the same analog-sourced dither material found in the SPIDER and HEDD 192, direct from Crane Song.
Euhm.... The spider is just micpre's with a mixer and convertors. How are they gonna capture dither on a disc. I don't think they know what dither is. If there's no sound; no signal, you don't have dither.

...what the hell is that? I don't get it. What exactly is "source material"

C'mon guys, read carefully:

"Call and ask for Scott between 11 and 4 p.m. CST at 715-398-3627 or e-mail staff@cranesong.com"

Would you buy from a site that has the above contact info?

Heh-heh...

You guys kill me.......

I have no idea if the dither CD works or not... but everyone of the people mentioned at the site is an industry heavyweight.......

Fletcher swears by Cranesong gear.....!

Hell - there's even an endorsement by Bob Ludwig himself, so there may indeed be something to it........

...on the other hand, it could be just a big website gag done by someone at Cranesong as a joke.......!
