was wondering if anybody was familiar with the 0404 pci digital audio recording system by e-mu..does most of the work before the computer to help cut down the cpu load on the puter..it is in the musicians friend catalog..i have win 98 on a computer built in 1999..i record with magix deluxe 2005..sometimes when i add 6-7tracks the cpu gets high ( higher than me) and then things quit working properly... any other suggestions beside the pci would be appreciated too...my budget limit is around $150..thanks roy
