I've posted this elsewhere, but really need an answer. I have songs recorded on zip disks from a digital recorder (Boss BR-8). Wanted to mix it using Cakewalk, mix while recording. i hooked up recorder to PC,worked ok using line in and line out, but there was noise on the recoding (line loss?) and wondered what other options I have. I don't have soundcard to support digital in, so I could buy one, or is there another way to mixdown first, before recording to Cakewalk? Thanks.
