Hi. I'm looking for a digital piano suitable for teaching up to at least Grade 8. I would prefer if it had 128 Polyphony but most importantly it needs to have a good action and piano sound. I would also like it to have the full support for three pedals.

I've been browsing around on the net and have seen the Casio Privia PX-800.

What are your thoughts on this piano?

Are there any other better options?

This my sound odd but I already have an RD700 which I absolutely love!

This is constantly being used for gigging and rehearsing and I don't want to keep setting up and packing down because I live in a first floor flat. It would be a real back breaker having to carry it up and down a flight of stairs twice a day 6 days a week!

I would like a digital piano with built in speakers, wood stand and three pedals.

lol, i love mine too! anyway, that's all i came up with, sorry. the casio privias do get good reviews around here, and there are some yamahas in that price range too (p30 comes to mind), but i'm not sure if they have the features you're looking for.

good luck!

I teach on the Yamahas. (I have an RD700sx too)
But the yamahas are so responsive and are great for teaching, i cant remember the models but all the fairly recent ones sound amazing and are great for teaching
