Hi
I've got a load of music on minidiscs I want to get onto my PC.
If I use a minidisc deck with an optical out, and buy <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000A14S4/ref=sr_aps_electronics_1_1/026-1073727-3364438">this soundcard</a>, and use a program like Cool Edit to record it, will I have an exact digital copy of what's on the minidisc (ignoring the sound quality lost by decompressing from the Atrac compression on the minidisc)
If not, what should I do? Will a more expensive sound card help?
