Hello folks! I used to run the inputs and outputs of my m-audio audiophile 2496 simultaneously thru my horrible behringer mixer. I found that running the outputs of the audiphile directly into my studio monitors gave me a better sound. But, now i have no way to monitor thru headphones when recording vocals/acoustic instruments and i hate switching the cables back and forth. I was wondering if yall knew of some kind of digital headphone amp made that i can run the audiophile's digital ouput into. Thanks.

Was just thinking. What about if i got some kind of cheap usb interface with a headphone output just for monitoring while recording vocals. Would that interfere with my other card? I could get a cheap usb soundblaster card or something since i'm just trying to hear on headphones. I'll continue to mix thru my audiophile and monitors.

Look at the Presonus HP-4 headphone amp, you can plug your outputs into it and your monitors too, It has a volume knob for your monitors plus 4 headphone connections with seperate volumes.

That's perfect! I'm gonna buy that asap. Thanks man.

I was going to say the Presonus Central Station, which has digital inputs.
