I have Cubase LE and when i import from the CD and play back the wav, there is a distortion every few seconds. Each distortion lasts about half a second. I am positive it is not a sample rate problem because i have everything set to 44.1 and the bit depth to 16 because that is what is importing off of the CD. I also tried it with other wav files off of my hard-drive and the same thing happened. It seems that something in Cubase is not set right because everything has this same distortion when imported.
