digi001, do i need a sound card

ok with the digi001 will i need to buy a sound card with that or does it come with one along with that break out box. if i do need one any suggestions for recording vocal and midi tracks.
 
it comes with it , im not sure if it has midi though , so thats the only thing u may need a second for ... actually im sure it does come with midi in ...
but the answer is no , it should all come with the breakout box..
 
I have the Digi 001 and it does do midi and it comes with everything you need but the midi cables. The midi connections are on the breakout box.
 
Once again I must mention this just in case -- when you say the Digi001 "does MIDI," this is ambiguous -- there's the MIDI interface to send and receive streams of MIDI data, then there's MIDI synthesizer hardware that will respond to MIDI messages by playing sounds and whatever. The Digi001 has a MIDI interface; it does not have any MIDI synth, I think...
