digi 001 and Sonar

Anyone using the Digi 001 box and Sonar?
I am not able to get sonar to recognize the optical drivers for sonar. Anyone know what's up?

I think this has something to do with the drivers Digidesign provides. I couldn't get Vegas to see anything but inputs one and two. I've heard there's a solution for this, but I haven't found it.
 
other than pt Le which it comes with the only program i KNOW it will WORK with is logic...
 
I'd never buy the 001 to use with anything other than pro tools le. Its just a waste of money if you do that. You can get just as good an interface for less. A big part of the 001 price is the le software, IMO.]

Besides it won't work :)

BUT, as Voxvendor and others will tell you...Digidesign is NOT only "MAC stuff"

XP support is due this month...
 
digi 001 and windows sonar etc

John Bobay at Sweetwater e-mailed me (promptly, I may add) that Digidesign provides only an MME driver for Windows for channels 1 & 2. I would guess that this is so that DIGI 001 can be used to play CD's and Windows' sounds. I inherited the digi 001 from my predecessor so I use it to run Pro-Tools LE and Sonar on one of my machines.
