After searching for a bit here, SF topics tend to pop up alot here, I hope it's the right place to post this.

I'm trying out Kontakt and appearently it only plays back SF2 files, but I found alot of .SFARK, .EA2, and .WRK soundfont files online, and I was wondering if I can use them as SF2 with Konkakt.

I'm new to soundfonts, so all this seems pretty confusing...any help would be great

I thought that at least .SFARK is a compressed soundfont, and you need a "special" program to unpack it. .EA2 and .WRK I'm not sure about (.WRK was a cakewalk filename ;))

moskus,

why do you know so much?:D Thanks, man. Gonna search for that "special program" now.

And *.EA2 are Environment files (presets) for Creative SB cards.

No, it was not James Argo this time :D

Simply because I told him everything he knows... :D :D :D
And this from the man who keeps his SB Live for Soundfonts... :p

hehehe, you guys rock !!! :D

So bamboo, .EA2 is EAX effect preset, right ? :) I don't use Creative's driver/firmware anymore (KX driver rule!!!), and I think you need Creative's firmware to load the environment effect files.

One of your own,
