i love negative rep
i know how this usually works. you get a good tracking engineer, with good equipment. and he puts up clean, relatively bleed-free tracks.
and you try to mix them.
but that's not what life is always like
i just received a mixing job that i did not track and well......
lets just say i've got my work cut out for me. some of the sounds just plain suck. basically my job is "we've already spent a bunch of money tracking this, can you make it suck less"?
(i'd classify the quality not as "worst possible scenario" but definitely as "you paid for this"!?!?!?!?!?!)
so i was wondering, how many people would like to try to rescue a track?
i'll pick the worst one out, and everyone can try and shine some sh*t.
i could probably provide a small prize.
what do you say?
