difference between diamond 8.2 and 8.2a?

simple question, and no doubt a simple answer, what is the difference between the wharfedale diamond pro active 8.2's and the 8.2A's? thanks to anybody who knows!

I thought the 8.2's were passive and the 8.2a's active (thus the "a"). Maybe I'm wrong though.
 
yeh after reading some posts it kinda makes sense...sometimes the websites put "active", sometimes they just put an "a", this confuses people like me. if there is any other reason why, fill me in!...
 
You can no longer get the passives. The "a" in 8.2a mean they are "a"ctive.
 
There are still several places with the passives in stock if you really wanted passives.

you can still get the "yellow cone" passives ~200 pair.
just can't put 'em up next to the crt's i guess.

suposedly the same except for shielded...?
