Amazing! All these years using the DR-660 and 770, and I couldn't put my finger on exactly why I liked them so much. You guys have hit the proverbial snare on the head. Thanks!

I'm going back to bed now.

What do you get when you cross a guitarist with a roadie?

An even dumber roadie :D

DRUMMERS STRIKE BACK

I really don't know why you bother guys. We've heard them all about 10,000 times.

now . . .

if i could just get that guy who programs MY drums to get it right...uh, hey wait a minute! :)

This is one of my favorites:

Why is a drum machine better than a drummer?
Because it can keep a steady beat and won't sleep with your girlfriend.

okay..I'm moving on to the bass forum now...

Drum Machines don't all of a sudden change to guitar because its more musical!

Drum Machines can be smuggled into work.

Drum Machines use tamborines.

Drum Machines look cool in a studio.

Drum Machines don't get tired.

Drum Machines can be thrown farther.

Drum Machines don't puke.

Drum Machines can be taken back to the store if they don't work.

Drum Machines come with warrantees.

Drum Machines can be introduced to your other friends without getting into a fight.

Peace,

Why did God give drummers just one more brain cell than horses?

.........so they don't shit in the middle of the parade!

what happened when the bass player locked his car keys inside the car?

he took two hours to open the car and get the drummer out.

no flames, please.:D

a drum machine wont corner you while youre outside in the middle of the night and rape you behind a bush and then threaten to kill you if you tell the police.

*runs of crying...*

If you tip your drum machine to one side or the other drool will not run out all over your carpet.

All the best recordings in the world are played with real drummers. It's in the groove...

I have done some material with drum machines too, but never been REALLy satisfied...jokes are funny anyways.

Yea Shagr!

There is really nothing like real drums. Yes, a drum kit sucks up tracks and is hard to mic, and takes more maintenance,
but the results are worth it. I am not a drummer, yet I bought a good kit for my studio, and I am glad I did.

Okay, I'll throw my joke in too. ;)

What do you call a drummer who just broke up with his girlfriend?

Homeless.

Sorry, just had to join in the fun. :)

I'll tell you why I don't want a drum machine(though I'll still probably purchase one)...

I hate recordings with perfect drums, but the rest of the track you can tell is done in a basement. At least it sould sound consistant.

Spill a drink on a drum machine, and it won't work.

Spill a drink on a drummer, and he will play better.
