I've been using my audiophille 2496 card for about 2 months now with no problems, I love it! Until two days ago, when I went to monitor the previous nights tracks I had recorded, I found I had bad stuttering and pops. Upon further investigation I found I have this condition on every track that I've ever recorded. Luckly I made backup audio!! I went to the Cakewalk newsgroups and someone had posted saying he talked to someone at M audio, and they told him that their soundcards don't work properly with Cakewalk!?! Have you guys heard this before?
I think I'm going to uninstall/Reinstall cakewalk, then my soundcard if I have to. But what caused my stuttering and pops in the first place? I also can't record anything currently without the pops. My soundcard works fine with all other applications like my cd player and for other sounds...just doesn't jive with cakewalk? Help please,
thanx
