Thanks Nak...I'm working on a remix right now...trying to get a bit more definition of each part. I think the bass is a bit big...it sort of gets messed up in the drums, I think. I need to define each one, and that might fix the low end.

Appreciate the listen man... :cool:

Good that you found the mix, I really enjoyed it. We did try different things for the mix at the time but I think this one is going in the right direction. Nice work.

I just ran a 4 string Dean direct into a RNP with a RNC on the sidechain for pops. Clean otherwise, no eq or nothin'.



I think overall it sounds good. I don't hear the muddiness that others have commented on.

Thanks. I bought a new condo in February and played golf during summer so things are a bit slow on the music side. I will try to post a new song this year.

Nice tune.....only nits are that the keys seem to walking on the bass and the double vocals need to be tighter, other that that it was a very enjoyable listen...nice work!!!
 
Thakns guys..jpw, yeah, I've never really messed with keyboards much, so might have mixed them too prominantly. :o

I'm gonna work some more on this later, but shall be off for a few days.

Nice mellow intro. Got a pink-floydish flavour. That 70's lay-back-herb music.

I can't really give it a fair listen on headphones though.

I love that lead solo. I will listen tomarrow. :)

Yo dawg, this isn't exactly the best pic and it's not quite a "disco ball" but it provides some good light effects when the lights are off and hopefully some HOT dog motivation :D :D :cool:

I like it, kinda reminds me of a greatly improved Ace Frehley.
 
I like this alot. Nice riff, great vocals. It might be even better in a higher key. Seems like he wants to belt it out more, but can't because it's maybe a tone too low. This is very Yes-ish and Beatle-ish at the same time. There's a slight distortion on the vocals, but the actual vocal sound is nice. Very cool and hypnotic. Good stuff, Dog, you should finish or re-do this.

Thanks, I'm doing the vocals on this one. I don't have a vocal booth so I have to sing close to the mic and that's why you hear distorsion and pops. Ed did a great job at the mix to hide them as much as he could. I agree with Rami, it was difficult to find a range for that song. The structure is different from what I'm writing so we (me, Ed and Space) did some experimentation before comming to this version.

Thanks Rami....I think the problem with the vocals might be how I mixed them....Jack sent some clean tracks, and I may have tried too hard.... :o

Thanks man...I think I will do a more simple remix...and it should fit better.
