Has anyone used Diskfactory for their CD pressings? If so what has been your experience with them?

Or if anyone has anyone else they would like to recormend to use for small cd pressings please let me know.

Thank you...

I would never use any company called DickFactory. I wouldn't even use a company called DiskFactory because there's a company called Discmakers that is just excellent!

I'd buy from Dickfactory - I need a new one cause I've worn out my current one :)

I used them, came out alright, but since then i found places with better prices.

Hey! we actually use both Diskfactory and Diskmakers. if i'm not mistaken Diskfaktory http://www.guitarcenter.com/cdduplication/propak.cfm (i think that's how they spell it) is through musicians friend or guitar center... we were using them for some of our small runs like batches of 100's that we were using for cheaper promos, and we used Diskmakers to do our nice DigiPaks ( http://www.discmakers.com/music/products/dp400.asp ) we started with the batch of 300 of them, but ran out and just ordered the 1000. now, since we bought in bulk our really nice looking CD is less then half the original cheap-os we got.

so, if you need to do small runs like 100, and they don't need to look that great, your best bet is Diskfakory. you can get 100 CDs for $229. I think the smallest batch you can get at Diskmakers is 300 and that'll cost you $990. keep in mind, you can get 1000 for $1600, so it all depends on how much you want to spend and how many you think you'll need.

Oh, keep in mind that neither of these places gave back our master CDs...i guess we've still got to deal with that issue, cuz we have no back ups...oops.
