I have a doubt....i read in Homerecording.com that to record Direct to the PC you need a Direct Input Box...

Well, i have Behringher (or something like that) MX802A...
I have to buy a DIB anyway?
For example to record a guitar and apply some Amp Simulator, cause the examples i hear of the zillions of Amp simulators (amplitube, GreenMachine, Simulanalog, Trash) the dry signal is very clean and not muddy...with a very stable signal...

Thanxs...

If you are going through some type of effects pedal or stompbox you should be ok. The whole point of the DI is to bring the guitar signal to line level before it hits your board. The best results though are to record direct AND mic the amp.

yeah, that will work I would assume! I do know that plugging straight into the mixer will work but you will have to turn the gain up high and will get unwanted noise.
