DI Box for guitar--> effects --> puter

I found yesterday that I really love the sound of my guitar going from my the guitar to an older Korg multi effects pedal to the board directly, then into the card.

It gets this really smooth clean sound, almost piezo-sounding. I obviously would only be using this for clean, not overdrive.

I get kind of a static sound though when playing through my mixer whenever I use the humbuckers though, and I figure I need some sort of direct box.

Any recommendations?
 
Countryman is a nice active DI. A solid favorite of sound engineers in live venues.

Mine is solid enough to park my truck on it.
